Training

We are pleased to introduce a range of training courses for Oracle Workflow technology.  Each course will be run by one or more consultants with many years experience of developing with Oracle Workflow.

We offer two distinct kinds of training course – either a “generic” training course which is suitable for a general audience, and courses which have been tailored to meet the specific needs of one organization.  Depending on your training requirements, including the number of delegates that you envisage sending, a tailored course may be more suitable than one which has not been specifically designed for your organization.

Non-Tailored Training

We offer three training courses which have not been tailored for specific organizations.

Functional Overview of Oracle Workflow
Designed for business analysts, project managers and business managers, this intensive one day training course helps delegates to understand the concepts of Workflow, what the product can do, and also some of the limitations of the product.

Technical Training Course
Designed for technical developers, this four day course provides detailed insights into how to begin developing with Oracle Workflow.  The delegates build a complex Workflow to meet the requirements of a genuine business process, which encompasses the core concepts of Workflow and the business event system.  Non-technical delegates are welcome, but a number of the exercises require a reasonable working knowledge of writing PL/SQL procedures.  An agenda for the course can be found here.

Using Workflow For Integration
This two day training course is designed for technical developers and architects.  The course provides expert advice and guidance on how best to use Oracle Workflow to manage complex integration scenarios.  In addition to using Workflow, the course also provides an insight into using Oracle Advanced Queuing and Oracle Interconnect.

Tailored Training

In order to meet the specific training needs of your organization, WorkflowFAQ offers tailored versions of the Technical and Integration courses.  We will undertake some degree of business analysis in advance of the course, and tailor the course to meet the needs and schedule of your company.  Tailored courses are provided for up to 15 delegates, based at a location organized by your organization.  These courses are provided on a fixed price basis.

Additionally, we can run non-tailored courses for your organization outside of our normal training schedule. Again, these courses are offered on a fixed price basis, and are limited to 15 delegates.
